EAW recently unveiled the newest part of their “Micro” line of monitors, the MicroSub.  (See our past story about EAW MicroWedges)

The Micro – Line of monitors are the latest in greatest in EAW’s stage monitors (some say, all together) that are the Child of David Ratt.

The MicroSub contains a single 15″ sub, and is specifically designed to be low profile and ultra compact…

Lets take a look at the specs.

  • Single 15″ Sub
  • Mounted at a 45 Degree Upward Angle (Butt Kicker, anyone?)
  • Interlocks with MicroWedge 12″ and 15″ Models
  • 27 Hz – 150 Hz Operating Range (Tuned to 35 Hz)
  • 8 Ohm Impedance
  • High Pass Filter at 28 Hz, 12 dB/Octave (Passive Crossover)
  • Power Handling Tested at 8 Ohms, 1000W
  • 122 dB average max output / 128 peak
  • 13″ Height
