Apogee has announced that all of their X-HD Card compatible hardware will, indeed, work with Digidesign Pro Tools 8. 

Apogee X-HD Expansion Card is an expansion card for their X-HD capable devices (listed below) that allows interconnectivity with Pro Tools HD systems (via 192 for A/D – D/A converters, and PCI cards for clocking).

TheApogee X-HD Expansion Card is available for the following devices.

• Apogee AD-16X 16 Channel A/D Converter
• Apogee DA-16X 16 Channel D/A Converter
• Apogee Rosetta 800 8-Channel AD/DA Converter
• Apogee Rosetta 200 2-Channel AD/DA Converter

Apogee is well known for their AD/DA converters, as well as their word clock stability.
