DigiDesign has recently released Pro Tools 8.0.1, their first update to the big Pro Tools 8 release. Along with it? No Snow Leopard support for Mac users, and no Windows 7 support for windows users… So what did it add?
Lets Take a Look…
Pro Tools LE and M-Powered
Fixes for: Playback, Control Surfaces (Including the JL Cooper CS-10), Time Stamps, MBox on Macs, Time Stamps, Digibase Keyboard Shortcuts, Scrolling, and Field Recorders.
Pro Tools HD
Fixes For: Control Surfaces (Including the JL Cooper CS-10), DSP for Macs, Time Stamps, Avid Mojo and Mojo SDI as well as AVoption|V10, Digibase and Keyboard Shortcuts, Machine Control, MIDI Controllers (Aviom), Machine Control, Playback and Plug-Ins, D-Control and D-Command, Scrolling, and Field Recorders.
It seems that 8.0.1, as it should be, is a round up and fix of all known bugs in Pro Tools 8.0. You’ve officially exited PT 8 Beta.
Also, 8.0.1 Will be the last leg for many familiar favorites, such as the 888, the Expension|HD, Power PC Macs, and the origional MBox! (read more here)
